Escobaria are blooming!

My favorite winter hardy cactus are doing their thing!  Whoohoo!

    Now I have to go look up Escobaria. The blooms are beautiful--closeup they almost look like underwater sea creatures.

      That particular one is Escobaria missouriensis. Native right here in Texas, but becoming harder and harder to find in the wild...
