So I had a long drive to rural Texas today... Perrin to be exact. Don't know where that is? Well it's kind of north of Agnes and west of Wizard Wells... Now do you have a better idea?
Anyway... on my way I saw a fantastic old farmhouse and windmill silouetted against a perfect blue sky...
And I saw a vulture sitting in a tree, with his wings spread to warm in the sun...
And I saw a coyote lazily wandering down a fencerow...
And I FORGOT MY BLASTED CAMERA THIS MORNING
Ain't that just typical?

I have a Casio Exlim that's smaller than a flat cell phone. It fits in my billfold. I bought it so that I would always have it with me when I go out. The problem is, I can't snap photos when I'm driving and there's usually no where to stop when I want a photo! (I don't use it at home--it's just for photo emergencies. You should get one and you'll always have it on hand.

I usually always have my camera with me. I just happened to have left it at home that day...
ReplyDeleteOHHHHHH...you got me so good on this one! I was awaiting all the beautiful photos and then you forgot your camera!!! LOLOL. Your descriptions were great...I could imagine them so well. You will have some great memories! Now...I will have to get a map to see where Perrin really is. I like the name Wizard Wells!
