the pear leaves are turning again this year... there seems to be much more variation in the color this year, probably due to the temps getting chilly, then warming up again... over and over...
but I't taken a pic last year, so I thought I'd take one again this year.

Claude,
ReplyDeleteYou have some absolutely amazing colors going on. I have always heard that the sugar in trees sap the more colorful the leaves. Don’t know if this is true are not but if it is then you must have had some really sweet pears. Thanks for posting such a wonderful picture. - G
Some of my favourite colours there.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beuatiful pic. I didn't know that the pear leaves turn this color. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteLast year around this time, I was in Shreveport and I remember the pear trees. The whole tree scene there is so beautiful! I am jealous. When I see any tree at all manage to change a bit (maybe in Jan/Feb, when we actually get a few cooler temps)...I will take pics for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteSo far, the popcorn trees, crapemyrtle, and poison ivy are the winners for fall color here. Though I did see some mighty fine red maples in the woods yesterday while on a hike.
ReplyDeleteJealous! Our color change is BROWN!
ReplyDeleteLovely autumn colours! We had lots of colours too, and now have sudden huge snowfall. So for the first time, I'm seeing autumn leaves fallen on top of snowdrifts!
