Oh good news!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI tried to grow a couple ocotillo once- never had any luck with them! I love the way they look when they are covered with leaves and of course when they bloom!
ReplyDeleteYou have a long haul in front of you! They are soooooooooo slow growing. Good luck, and hope you are in your 20s or early 30s so you can see the fruits of your labor in 20-30 years. Since I am on the other end of the lifecycle, I avoid propagation by seeds. Heck, I don't even like to buy green bananas.

Aiyana... I know, I know... maybe I'll leave them to my niece. Of course, we have more water here during the growing season, so maybe they be blooming in 15 to 25 years...
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll will them to the Botanic Garden... ;-)
Oh God...now I better not try this since I am 51.5 years old already!!! LOLOL.
