Too bad, I was hoping it was a bletilla - becuase those I could just shove out in the yard, being winter hardy and all... but the leaves aren't right and they have an underground tuber. So, I look up the care for Cymbidium and procede as if that's the case...Claudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04568424354642247198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36010671.post-11415688815905223442010-06-21T02:02:18.498-05:002010-06-21T02:02:18.498-05:00Dear Claude, I share your view on orchids. Those that spend a great amount of time and money caring for them and those that don't. And it seems both types have strong, healthy and beautiful plants. So how much help was that? (lol). You might want to check out South Florida Chalenges blog though. Sanddune has posted about orchids before. Will be interested in hearing how things go. Great looking palm and nice price as well. - GGaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00653020388235448819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36010671.post-27673488718509623562010-06-20T22:30:11.497-05:002010-06-20T22:30:11.497-05:00I was thinking Cymbidium as well.I was thinking Cymbidium as well.mr_subjunctivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14113199755474482747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36010671.post-61180093685992090942010-06-20T21:29:38.504-05:002010-06-20T21:29:38.504-05:00Wow, Claude...I am not into orchids AT ALL... so h...Wow, Claude...I am not into orchids AT ALL... so have no idea on that one. Good luck with it - not so hard to keep alive but I haven't had much luck getting mine to re-bloom - leaving them out in the fall when night temperatures drop is supposed to help.Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16347983770474369842noreply@blogger.com
